Aspire together. How to improve english communication skills - Lungan Cristina

I have always believed God places certain people in your life at certain times. I have been blessed with a great number of influential people throughout my life - from high school friends who let me be myself to mentors who have helped me make the most of myself.

From the first moment I opened my eyes I knew instinctively that I was going to be protected and guided through life by her... a presence whose movements invisibly shadowed my own.  She was not only my mother, she was also my adviser, my friend, my model in life whom I respect deeply, admire, look up to and aspire to be like.

As she is also a teacher (my first and dearest one I might say), she has played a vital role in forming my beliefs and shaping my future since she knows the importance of good education. That is why she did almost anything to help me when it came to it. Not because my mother pushed me, but because she encouraged me was I able to make education a priority in my life from a young age. She has always been a source of motivation and a reminder of what true love means. She is the person I still go to for a good lesson in life.

Today, I continue setting goals and prioritizing my life to achieve them, but one cannot achieve anything without a great amount of patience. Thankfully, again, I learned from the best. For instance, I will always be grateful to a friend of my family, a Romanian teacher, another guiding light in my life who- through his example, help and advice- enabled me to be as successful as I am today.

At first sight, he seemed to be very calm, warm and kind, yet unbendingly professional. There were certain qualities in this man that made him stand out from the crowd. First and foremost, he had the power to enhance children's creative skills, and open up their imaginations to a whole new world of possibilities. He has taught me that a good teacher has to inspire and ignite the flame of knowledge under his or her students, and this is exactly what I am trying to do with my own students. Sometimes I am successful in my endeavour, other times I am just content that I have tried.

Creating a path, providing life lessons, and leading by example are the true qualities of a role model. As I mentioned earlier, God finds a way to put someone in your life who may be able to fill this role. I am sure a great many of us, myself included, owe our lives to our role models.
